Default Chambered H-Pipe

If i go with this for exhaust for the midpipe..does the chamber act as a muffler?

Now the backpressure theory..if i go longtubes, to the chambered h, to straight pipes.. is there not enough back pressure?..ive heard so many theorys about the 4.6 and back pressure..but whats the truth about it?

The chambered h is called a prochamber. It's going to be really loud without mufflers. I don't know about the backpressure

You don't want backpressure.

More free flowing = more power. Period.

You'll theoretically get better torque ( < 4000 rpm) due to scavenging effects but the 2v falls on its face hard enough as is.

The prochamber doesn't have anything in it restricting flow. It's basically an x-pipe with the x section replaced with a box, and V's to help flow.

It's primarily going to change sound.

BTW - O/R prochamber + flowmaster delta 40's = best sound you'll find. It won't be obnoxiously loud when driving normally, but certainly will be when you get on it.

I made 400+ rwhp at 12 psi on my p-1sc while I had it with stock exhaust logs, O/R prochamber, and delta 40 mufflers. No other mods.

The ProChamber will reduce the sound level slightly, but it certainly will not take the place of mufflers.
