Default 315's on the way. Couple questions:

So I ordered a set of Bullitt 10.5's with 315 Sumitomo HTR Z's from American Muscle. From all the reviews I read on AM website, the Sumitomo's are a good street tire for those on a budget. Which I am.

A couple reviews stated that they had problems with the tires rubbing their aftermarket quad shocks. Might of been an older model though, late 90's? Mine 03GT. Stock quad shocks.

Few others stated tires were rubbing their aftermarket exhaust. Mods needed. Mods? Mine is Magnaflow O/R X and Borla Stinger C/B.

Last, I have FRPP C-springs installed. Drop was roughly 1.5" in the front and about 1.25" in the rear. Was about .75" until I cut off dead coil. Still nowhere close to rubbing. I also have 1.5" wheel spacers on my stock wheels that puts me where my new 315's should be without spacers. Has never rubbed.

Now, what exactly is "fender rolling" and would I need it? Very rare I have people in the back of my car and with the C-springs, the drop in the rear wasn't that substantial.

Just wondering if anybody has had any problems like these. If so, maybe I can get a jump on fixing anything before tires/wheels get here hopefully mid week.

Thanks for any info/advice. Much appreciated.

I run 285's with a 1 inch spacer. I'm having rubbing issues. I would suggest getting the fenders rolled. I'm gonna have to drive to Ohio (closest shop that will roll fenders) to get my fenders rolled. See pics below..

Soldier GT - I like the stance of your Stang. Those 17's or 18's? And what brand springs you have? Seems yours sits quite lower than mine. Also, your lower valence under the MUSTANG on the rear bumper. What does that say?

BLKSTANGER - Youtube is my second home. Never even thought about going there to learn about fender rolling. Thanks. Will check it out.

scott4.6 - 295/55/15? That like a drag slick or something? That's a weird size. IDK, might be a common size, but I have 17's. Thanks though.

caaraa - Uh....What?

I was mainly concerned about the rubbing on the quad shock or exhaust. I would just mount tires and closely monitor tire to fender clearance. If it had to be rolled, was just wondering what I'd be getting myself into. Thanks again guys...

my brothers car is slammed on 285's in the rear and we have no rubbing issues, you can always flip the quad shocks around or just plain remove them, they really dont do anything...

Wow, you are slammed. I shouldn't have any issues. I mentioned the spacers that are for my stock wheels. Will not be used on the new 10.5's. Thanks man...

Yeah, definitely lower than mine. Looks nice. Didn't know you could flip the quad shock. I have heard of removing them. Mine leaked some oil both sides I noticed last summer. They probably blown out and useless anyhow. Will play it all by ear. Will mount new wheels/tires and go from there. Thanks...
