Question Supercharger/intercooler

I recently purchased a modified 99 GT. This is my 6th Mustang, but first one with a supercharger. I have a couple of questions and I hope you guys can help. When I get on the car I start to smell a burning rubber like smell in the cabin, kind of like when you do a smoky burnout. The smell is coming from the front of the car and the tires did not break loose. You can smell it outside of the car too only upfront, any ideas? Second, when driving around for a while, either highway or around town, the intercooler temp gauge goes up to 160-180 degrees and stays there for hours after she is shut down. Is this normal?

Could the smell be your belt spinning on a pulley? Usually a burning rubber smell to me tell me a belt

I will tighten the belt and see what happens.
It is a Saleen Speed Labs supercharger 9psi boost.

No luck, maybe I need a new belt tensioner.
