Default Car shuts off while driving

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 96 Mustang Gt 5 speed, and i was driving down the highway around 70 when all a sudden the car shut off as if someone pulled the plug on a light. But all the gauges was still up where they should be but the tach was a goose egg. I popped it into 4th and dropped the clutch and she fired right back up. I got her home, and pulled it in the driveway and shut it off. I tried to start it back up, but all i heard was a click (no cranking over). I figured battery, so i pulled my truck over to it, hooked the jumper cables and tried that but the same click. I tried it a couple of times but nothing. I waited over an hour, turned the key and she fired up, so i repeated it over and over about 15 times and fired up every time. Could someone help me with this issue? I have done nothing to the car since I've had it except changed the alternator which was last year. Thanks and hopefully some help would be appreciated.

Check the battery connections along with the main connection on the fuse box.
