Steeda pulleys.... Whatever you do, dont get the piggyback style if you go with something other than steeda. No you shouldnt have any problems either.

Yes BBK are piggyback thats why they are alot cheaper than steedas. Piggyback= pure s---. They are known to do severe damage to the crank. Get the steedas and be done.

Piggy back means it goes over your existing ones.

Why would piggyback crank pulley do severe damage to the crank? How?

They can do severe damage if they are not balanced properly. I have a friend with a 96 GT with piggyback pulleys and they tore up his crank pretty bad. Had no idea that they were off balance. Everything looked and sounded fine while car was running. Non piggyback are a direct bolt on after factory pulleys are removed. Piggyback bolt onto the factory crank which is not a real good idea.

Yes, and it means that they attach to you existing crank pulley – I believe there is a sticky on this topic FYI. Go with the Steeda’s!

I was going to go with biggyback because I want to keep stock crank balancer. Exactly how do balance them properly, does installation instruction tell you how to install properly those pulleys?
