I have a 97' Mustang GT that sputters at low Rpms when i give it any kind of gas. Most between 1000 and 2000 RPMs. I checked the Spark Plugs and replace all of them. after i replaced them the problem stopped for about 1 day then it started doing it again. i checked the plugs again and changed one that i thought might be bad. it worked for about 1 day again then started sputtering again. Any Ideas what could be causing this? Could it be my coils? wires? something else that could be causing it? Please help!

 

Have you checked for any vacuum leaks? Is your service engine light on. Do you have a Preditor or XCal 2 flash tuner to check for error codes.

 

Oh I almost forgot. I had that problem years ago with one of my cars and it was the spark plug wires. I opened the hood in the dark with the car running and could see the wire arching.
