After I got everything wired in, but its sound bad. No highs, and some mids and lows. The harness is a metra 70-5519 wiring harnesses, the harness with the two rca's. Do I tie both of the blue and white wire together, and those go to the amp remote wire? Or do I tie one off and just one go's to the remote? Same with the black and white amp ground wires? thanks

 

I used the Scosche harness and only used the blue/white wire for amp remote. The factory amps are already grounded so not sure what you mean about the black & white wires. The white n white/black wires are for the left front speaker.

 

Yeah that's what I did both blue and whites are going to the remote. I have the speaker hooked up right on the bigger harness. But on the other smaller one there are two black/white wires labeled amp ground, I have those going to the amp ground wire coming from the radio. Yet it still sounds like poop.

 

Hmmm...not sure about your adapter but on mine the blue wire did NOT turn on the amps, just the blue w/white stripe. Probably not an issue but maybe disco the blue wire? Still sound like the amp for the tweeters isn't turning on. What kind of HU did you get?
