Default Building Engine

I have a 2002 Gt running a paxton supercharger at about 8lbs of boost. I know i run some risk of blowing my engine with my set up. How can i build my car to make it more reliable and even run more boost?

Get forged rods, pistons and roller rockers. Just basically build the internals and get a fuel pump and injectors to match the boost you want to make.

I was quoted $2200 for a forged internal swap in this area. Every location will vary. Blower cams should help releive some stress on your motor by helping it breath in and out. Like a new or better pair of lungs in a way.

I hope you meant cam followers. The only non-OEM style out there is Jesel, and at over $100 each (you need 16), it is not really worth the cost for the hp you gain. Unless you're build is "price no object."
