Default transmission "bump" noise

First off I apologize if this has already been brought up, but I've searched and have not found the right answer. I have a 99 mustang gt, five speed transmission. when i am sitting in the car, and put the car into gear, while still, i hear a "bump" noise immediately after entering either first or reverse. im thinking maybe a shifter bushing or trans mount, but never have problems with it while driving. I just moved into apartments and have not been able to get it on stands to check it out. any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated. thanks.

i heard several people having the same issue, my car make the exact same noise from the rear(maybe?), i thought it was the transmission mount at first and then it still have that kinda sound after i replaced it. Im thinking it might be the drive shaft that connecting to rear def., there is a small play between drive shaft and dif., but that play is totally normal. it might be something else, but i still can't find any answer for that weird noise.(PS: Did it happen recently? )
