cam swap

Default cam swap

has anyone done a cam swap and if they have which one and did they like it? also did you keep the heads stock. ill have a full exhaust and intake before i mess with the cams. just looking for some input if anyone has had them done

what year is your car? VT stage 1's are a good choice, or comp 262's. for a stage II, you'll need a spring upgrade and 3.73 gears or better.

i dont get why u need steeper gears for the more aggressive cam. please explain somebody.

you won't make power until higher rpms, so you will need gears to get you into those rpms more quickly.

Vt stage 1 cams are nice. i think the site says 3.55 gears or higher. I just ordered 4.10 gears and am buying the VT stage 1 cams. I did get my heads done so i guess i would suggest it.

What kind of gains do you get with stage 1 vs stage 2 on a N/A? Also what RPMs do you make the HP/TQ at and do you sacrifice any low end HP/TQ for it? (This is all assuming full exhaust/intake/4.10 ratio)
