Hey, I have a 96 mustang GT and my odometer stopped working on a couple weeks ago and I'm hoping its just the Gear. But I don't want to spend the money for the replacement Gear, its around 40 bucks. And around here mustangs are rarely in the junkyards. So i was wondering if the gear was also in the instrument clusters of crown vics, grand marcs, or thunderbirds. If i find a mustang I'm good, but like i said its rare, and its small part that can easily fit into my pocket.

 

well i answered my own question, Crown vic, and Ford Thunderbird odometer gears are not compatible ;(, so i drove down a little further away and found 2 v6 mustangs in my year. Im sure they will work i got both for parts.
