99-04 sct tuner

I have a 98 GT and someone locally is selling a 99-04 gt tuner. Will the whole tuner not work or is it the canned tunes on it made for the 99-04. I'm wondering if it would work at all.

I'm pretty positive that handheld will work on your car. I wouldn't use a canned tune from someone else's car on my car though.

96+ is what they work for which is obdII. I wouldn't use the canned tunes. Make sure it's unlocked or that's an additional $179~ to and from sct for an unlock.
