getting the starter tested tomorrow and the battery retested also. will update before work sometime. hopefully if the starter is bad the first 2 problems will be solved. if both are good tranny is coming down. so if anyone has tips or tricks to drop it please let me know.

Pull the acc belt and see what happens. Bought a 97 f150 once. Guy said the motor was locked up. Ended up being the a/c compressed was froze...

ill look into. on a side note the starter tested good initially but the guy wanted to take it apart and check the brushes. battery needed recharged cause i drained it while working on it. if both test good then i move onto the tranny. still looking for advice and such

Me and Uber already gave you something to check back on page 1. A knocking engine and hard to turn over means that it's a spun bearing. You are making more work for yourself if you check the transmission. If the tranny is in neutral, it won't affect the engine turning over.

I can personally guarantee that the knock in that video wasn't the clutch or transmission. I can do that because that is my video and my old car lol. The difference is that my car didn't have any issues turning over.

ok so i finally got time to try to turn the crank and i had a hell of a time trying to turn it with a pipe on the ratchet. my dad still wont get off the tranny deal which i why i said i was gonna drop it. so now what are my options.. ps starter and battery came back good today also
