Default Milk Shake

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys i have a 4.6 gt 1996 and i had a overheating problem (oil in the water lines) i changed the head gaskets and 2 months later i have a milk shake problem again but this time it is also in the oil pan and cooling system. Any suggestions of what it could be --please dont say head gasket please
thanks

Could be the oil filter adapter plate gasket. Oil and water flow through there and if it breaks, they can mix.

Hmm, that isn't good. I only know of three ways for water to mix with the oil on a modular and that is the oil filter plate, the head gasket, or a cracked block.

^+1, that's all there is--but one.

If you have a slushbox, transmission oil could get into the coolant through the tranny cooler pipe in the radiator--but it would not smell anything like that nasty odor motor oil and coolant make...

You could have a warped head and that would make it so coolant could leak past your new gaskets

If it's unclear, by "slushbox" Cliffyk is reffering to an Automatic Transmission
