you'll have to specify which 5.0. pushrod or modular. theres no question that each motor has a ton of potential. are you looking to do some sort of swap on your car?

You wont be able to drive a 4.6 4v or a 5.0 everyday man, way too much power to keep on the streets, you're gonna need a single port 3.8 to do that.

On a serious note, we need some more details...do you want NA power? Are you able to do the motor swap/ fabrication your self?

What kinda budget and power are you looking for?

The 4v will probably be the way to go either way from a cost stand point since the coyote motor swap is $$$$$$

Forget the coyote swap, that will soak up almost that hole budget. with a 7,000$ budget, I say get a set of trick flow 2v heads, a built shortblock, and a supercharger. If you get a good deal on anyone of of the 3 items you should be able to squeeze it through in that budget.

Yea, pretty sure the coyote motor ALONE is like 7k lol.

I agree with this guy, do a built shortblock and some boost.

Trickflow heads are $$$ so you may be better off just doing some cams or something with the stock heads.

All depends on your pockets and how much power you really need but a built bottom end and a bit of boost on stock HCI can make more power than your NA build would ever do without some seriously extreme parts.

You could just buy a stock 4v and supercharge it.That would put you over 400 rwhp and still be under budget. You might be able to build a 4v and sc it for less than 7k unless the sc is brand new.I'm not sure you would want to drive it everyday though.

No point to go stock 4v, just built the 2v bottom end, do some minor work, w/e you can afford and boost will get you some great power
