Mustang Exhaust

Mustang Exhaust
I've have my Stang for like 2 years now and I'm sick of it's sound. I'm not 100% on if my exhaust is even aftermarket or factory. I do know its flowmaster, but it's really not that loud. I'd love to do something to make it nice and loud, like a mustang should be. Would just added an H pipe or an X pipe do the trick? I'm really not looking to purchase a new full exhaust system. My bro added an H pipe to his 2004 Mach 1 and it sounds insanely good now!

With that being said, if you dont want to spend too much money, look into roush, SLP, or pypes as brands on youtube and just pick the one you like the best

you most likely have flows welded in to your stock catback like I do. Add any x or h pipe, offroad or with hi flow cats doesn't matter, and your stang will sound alot meaner. You can change muffs if it's not the perfect tone for you, but a midpipe is where most of the flow restriction is.

Really only looking to spend maybe 2/3 hundred, I don't wanna start replacing everything from the headers back. That's why I was thinking of maybe just adding an H or X pipe. What's the difference in performace/sound with those??

I have a video on here, you can hear my exhaust. It is x pipe slp catback and shorty headers
