Aw really?
So in my quest for more horsepower, while removing my manifolds for headers on my 2000 GT,I raised the engine as per instructions, the engine shifted on the jack as I was manning up on a stud and is now misaligned about 10 degrees clockwise and leaning against the overflow.
So I grabbed a hoist from a bud, it's hooked up and supporting the engine, the hood is coming off when I get some help tomorrow.
The CAI is off, hoses are disconnected from the cooling system, radiator is drained, I don't want to drain PS, or disconnect the hydroboost hoses if I don't have to.Transmission is off from a rebuild and waiting to be reinstalled.
1. What else needs to go so I can actually get some clearance on the manifolds?
2. Heater hoses need to come off the passenger side?
3. How do I get the engine to line back up with the mount holes?
4. Will the hoist make life a little easier?
I feel I should have never done this by myself and I thought I had enough wood shoved in the K member to keep the engine from moving. Apparently not. Thanks for your advice!
