My friend blew his rod and spun his bearing. He has a full truck at his disposal with a 351 in it. What would be needed for the swap?

 

5.0L or 3.8L K member, 5.0L wiring harness, ECM, transmission, and probably a bunch of other crap. It's not really worth it IMO.

 

It's a fairly involved swap if he wants to keep everything functional like power steering, a/c, and all of that. One thing he will need which I can help him with is a k-member for a pushrod engine. This is our k-member for pushrod swaps in a New Edge-

its cheaper and much easier to get another 281

 

94/95 K member.... the V6 was the same as the V8 in both the 5.0L and then with the 4.6L.
