RE: bad 99 cobra track times. why?
Jesus, I've seen stock Civic EXs pull better 60' times...
but yea, like i said earlier, and czwalga said, it just takes practice
(kind of like a place you could go to launch your car to get a timed start, so like a 1/22 mile track (yes, thats 60 ft)
if you cut that 60 fomr 2.4 to 2.0 alone is AT LEAST .8 off your ET, and im guessing more

Wow, Fords top of the line sports car hit a 15 in the 1/4. All i can say is, get that thing on the dyno. You are supposed to have 320hp. Those times seem alot like 220. Those trap times arent up to par with 320hp. Get it checked out. Good luck

yea, his car should be running in the 13's or in the 8's for the 1/8 mile. im running a 9.4 due to bad traction though so i think he has alot more left in it since our cars are around the same power levels. better tires will get you down to much better times. im running a 2.2 60ft time also in my stang.. i need to drop that alot!!!

Let me clarify. His 60' times are terrible. I mean I'm not trying to be mean although it's probably coming off as such. But around here there are better drivers than me. Some of my friends are better drivers than me. This one time my friend had never raced at a track before so he got my other friend to drive for him, so he can see his car's real potential. There's nothing wrong with letting someone else drive your car if you aren't up to par yet. Do you agree?
