Re-Painting Mach 1 Calipers
How would I go about repainting my Mach 1 Calipers? Would I want to sand the paint off or use some sort of thinner? Has anyone done this before? Thanks!
Edit. I will be using caliper paint and NOT powdercoating.

Painting calipers is no different than anything else. Surface prep is everything. The caliper must be clean and free of flaking paint before applying new paint.
I've cleaned calipers with brake cleaner and all purpose cleaner and degreaser. If needed, you can followup with a wire brush but make sure you clean off everything the wire brush loosens. Whenever I use a degreaser or brake cleaner, i follow up with all purpose cleaner and then make sure I rinse/wipe any cleaner residue off the surface.
Keep cleaners away from rubber seals and boots and carefully mask off anything that shouldn't have paint on it.
I've all ways removed calipers from the car to paint. I can't see how guys paint them in place.
You might want to read the directions for whatever brand of paint you're using.
