dyno testing wrong?

RE: dyno testing wrong?
believe it or not,but i brought that up with SLINGBLADE.,in anna, ill.
so we tried it to see what 3rd gear would pull, and then did a 4th gear pull.
3rd was 310rwhp,and 4th gave me 318rwhp.....i do agree with ya though,cause my a/f
ratio was like 12.5 in 3rd,but 4th was 13.3 so if we went off of 3rd's results i would of hurt something in a wot run in 4th.but this also tells me i need a programmer or something for the stock computer.

You guys are also forgetting that simple things such as how the car is placed on the rollers can affect the numbers on a dyno. Latley I have seen threads on here where people have had their cars on dynos and they were run in third gear and other such dumb mistakes. Personally I am at the point where unless I know the dyno and the guy running it or it is a super reputable shop I just don't put much stock in the numbers.
