Horsepower!!
Looking to add anything else to my build to add some semi-easy horsepower and not to break the wallet.
1996 Mustang GT 4.6l 5-Speed
Current setup:
BBK throttle 78mm throttle body
BBK cold air intake
BBK short throw shifter
Hotchikis shocks all around
Adjustable camber plates
BBK off-road H pipe
Flowmaster 40 series exhaust setup
Aluminum Drive Shaft
Recently re-did the whole clutch system, motor mounts, waterpump/thermo, radiator and hoses, plugs and wires.
Sitting on Nitto street radials
*I plan on buying BBK Shorty headers within the next few weeks*
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jay (A new member!)

Thank-You guys for the awesome responses! Defs plan on getting the headers for sure (for not only the performance, but the sound).
Like i said, it has been tuned before but a while back and it was only tuned to 87Octane.
Will also look into getting a tuner, as the previous owner had done the tune..
I actually ran across a couple posts about the PI swap, What benefiets does that bring? These year's have problems with them as i have heard?
Thanks!!

They said heads, not headers. Our 96-98 "non-pi" engines suck for performance. The heads are terrible thats why you see the pi swap posts because it involves using heads from 99-04 GTs as well as the intake and cams. I'm not worried about HP as much with my current car thats why I've not done it to mine and I'm probably going to start saving up for a '13-'14 GT once I finish up with these last few payments on my truck. Definitely look at getting some 3.73s in that thing at least then plan on a pi or motor swap if you want to make some decent power.
