Arrow Edelbrock waterpump worth the $$?

Well my stock water pump took a dump on me and was looking up pumps. I looked up motorcraft ones then came across the 8804 edelbrock high flow unit. Now I'm just na with bolt ons but I'm a track rat and it sees a lot of strip and auto x time. Now when the stock one failed I didn't notice till my ac cut out and the temp gauge was almost pegged. Scared the crap out of me. Engine seems fine as I shut it down as soon as I noticed.

I see its only like $40 more, seems to be well built. Worth the extra $$? I don't skimp out on my car so no aftermarket refurbed junk from an auto part store, OEM or better.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Zack

OEM will move more than enough coolant. If you want to do a cooling upgrade, it should be the radiator first.
