Sure it is. It looks just the same. How does you car handle with the $5 curtain rod sway bars?

...that being said, I dont think you understand the concept of a short shift...the difference between a good short shift and the sloppy stock shift that ford provides is like night and day, just sayin......

I just installed an MGW shifter in my 06 GT vert and wow what a great shifter. I too struggled with which one to buy and to be honest MGW was hands down the shifter people recommended. As info it will take about a month to get, they aren't sitting on the shelf, but well worth the wait. And buy right off the MGW website. Good luck and enjoy.

Another for the MGW.
And +1 to changing the fluids. Big difference indeed. I run royal purple for all my fluids.

I guess I don't understand the concept of a "short" "shift" oh great one. The factory shifter has a rubber isolator and a 2 piece upper shifter. With replacing the handle to a shorter handle it has a shorter throw and also gets rid of the mushy stock shifter. By getting rid of the rubber. So my ****Ty 30 dollar shifter doesn't compare I guess.

My car handles exactly the same after I installed my cheap shifter.

You're right, it doesn't. That's why it cost $30. Sure, it's some kind of an improvement over stock though.

+1 for MGW. Had one in every Mustang I've owned. It's without hesitation the first mod I do.

Yeah, I started with the Triax on my 97 and it was a little too notchy for my liking.
