Alignment help needed.
Wanted to lower my car in first place and figured that i would just cut 1 coil out of each spring and be fine. I didn't notice anything bad after riding with cut springs for 2 months, yaah its more bumpy, but nothing that would disappoint me. I decided to get my self staggered rims (replica cobra r 17x9 and 17x10.5)
Also bought my self a set of Nitto555s 275x40s and 315x35s.
Woke up all happy thinking i am gonna go mount tires and put them on the car, went to Big O tires and they told me that they wont do it because i will need camber plates with lowering springs in order for them to do an alignment. They also told me that they experienced some mustangs not being able to fit staggered rims due to the space issue. So i went back home to do some research.
I definitely want to go with MM cc plates because they are far more superior to SR that AM has on their website. Many people said that "yaah SR plates are good but wont take much beating on the street, considering me being very aggressive drive, they will not hold up pretty good, and spending 50$ more for MM is far better).
When i cut 1 coil of each spring i lowered my car about 1" all around. Now, i would like to find a decent set of springs that will do the same job, i wonder what would you guys recommend. Don't want to spend more than 250$ on springs. Thinking about For racing C springs due to their drop, everything else i checked gave 1.5" and 2" drops, i want something around 1" and Ford Racing springs are perfect for my liking. Do you think its a bad choice ? Maybe SR springs ? Anybody had a chance to try them out ?
And my last question is, would my rims fit the car... I bought these rims off a guy who ran them on Terminator, i figured why would they not fit me. Then i was thinking because of backspacing. I dont know what backspacing i have on my stock billets, but i measured Cobra R rims and its 6" front and 6"3/4 on the back, i think they should fit, although enlighten me why wouldn't they.
Thanks for reading.

first off, if the wheels fit a termi, they will fit any factory mustang 94-04.
The ford "c" springs will ride just a little more aggressive than the factory gt springs and give that 1 inch drop you are looking for. Everyone I spoke with that uses these liked them.
As for Big O Tires, They more than likely wont align the car with out the castor/camber plates is because a factory mustang doesn't have camber adjust and if you camber is out of spec, then their warrenty wont hold. An it be aligned without c/c plates? Yes, but the camber could be off with lowering springs. Lowered mustangs get aligned all the time without c/c plates, there just might be a little uneven tire wear.

Maybe Big O was trying to put the 10.5'' rim up front and gave up?? Mine fit perfectly fine. I bought vogtland springs with a 1.6'' drop front and rear with MM caster/camber plates and haven't had any issues other than not having money for more mods.

If you're happy with your cut springs, why buy springs at all? You likely cannot align it properly without the C/C plates, but an alignment place should not care about the springs, whether they're factory, cut, or aftermarket. On my 04 Cobra, I went with coil overs in front, and cut my rear springs - works perfect and did what I wanted it to do.
