I believe if you change your motor oil within moments there will be a sufficient amount of the old motor oil to help aid in the dry start ups. That meaning you fill the New Oil Filter with fresh Oil prior to installing it. Remember on cold starts with the proper Oil Filter the Filter it's self contains it's capacity to also aid with dry starts. In just seconds your engines bearings and top end are being lubricated. Advantage, Synthetic.
