Default Power window help please

I have a 2003 GT Convertible and both front windows stopped working. The rear windows and locks work fine. As I press the switch, I can hear a click and can see a power draw as the interior maps lights dim. I find it hard to believe that both motors went bad at the same time but stranger things have happened. Any advice is welcomed.

Have you checked all the fuses and wires to make sure it isnt getting shorted out or something. But from the way it sounds it sounds like there is either something holding the motor up or there both toast try holding the window button down while slamming the door to see if maybe there is just something in there jamming it up and see if they come down then and do the same on the passenger side. Hold the button down while slamming the door.

Thanks for the reply. I pulled the #43 fuse and the rear windows stopped working so I know the fuse is good. I also tried slamming the door and still not working. I will pull the panels tomorrow and dig further. Thanks again.

I would take off the interior door panel and check the motor before I start some redneck door slamming.

Well, I did not use the "redneck door slam" but pulled the panel for the driver's side and found a bad motor. The passenger side started working on it's own. That one will be left alone for a while. Thanks for the help and good laugh.
