I am going to upgrade my 00 GT's wheels. I'm looking at 17x9 Bullet's in the front, and 17x10.5 bullets in the back.... I know the 17x10.5 is a 315/35/17 tire. But does anyone know the size of the 17x9? The 00 GT's standard tires/wheels are only 17x8. Thanks

The stock 245 will work fine on 17x9

Stock 245 will fit but look so stupid. We just went through that with our new rims. Stock are 17.8 you have 17.9 you need a 255 or bigger. If you use your stock tires they will roll in.

you will want 265-275.

I think you would run into some serious clearance problems cornering over a lumpy road.

I would not put more than a 255 or even a 265, if you really want to on the front.

I think i'll go with 255/40/17s in front with (mustangtuning recommends) 315/35/17 in back, though i might go 275/40 or 295/40.

I have 275/40/17's on the front and have had no issues.
