Anyone know where I can find a trunk that'll fit my 04 crimson red stang with no spoiler? I currently have one with the saleen aftermarket spoiler; use to love it, but now I LOVE the no spoiler look everyone has. I tried craigslist and ebay but haven't found any luck. Not even a v6 with no spoiler!

I would do the painting option if I even found one with no spoiler, but I'd much rather it already be the crimson red to save a little $$

Would the Saleen spoiler leave too much gunk and crap on the lid if you were to remove it? I dont know if those are as easy as the stock GT spoilers but that can be another option if you don't find a trunk lid.

Try www.car-parts.com. You should be able to get a stock lid without spoiler. Good luck.

The saleen will leave a mark I'm sure -- But I can't imagine it NOT buffing out...

I'm in the same boat you are. I had the stocker and then wanted the saleen 1 piece so I put it on. Now I wish I would have just went with no spoiler and filled the holes and had it painted... Oh well

I thought I was the only one that wanted my rear spoiler removed. They are rather rare at the wrecking yards. I bought one off craigs list. They advertised it without spoiler, when I got there someone had filled the holes with fiberglass (both sides) and primed it. Anyway $25.00 well spent.
