Default my xcalibrator 2 came in, easy to setup?

just wondering about loading the tune, instructions say to pull fuel pump and electric fan fuses. anything else i should know besides that? thanks!

The reason they suggest you pull fuel pump and electric fan fuses is because they both run while your ECU is being programmed.

I have a new battery, and 75 degrees here would be considered cold, so I skip that step.

My engine is most likely not the best candidate for the more aggressive tunes because the STC programs (even for 87 octane) were causing pinging with the corresponding fuel grade.

I ended up going with the 87 tune (87 gas), timing -2 0-2000, timing -4 2000-4000, -5 4000 above, idle 650.

Also low-speed fan 182, high-speed fan 202. I did put in the 180 degree thermostat.

The Xcalibrator 2 is totally worth having. I just wish it had more user settings.
