Default What RPM's will I turn on the highway with Gears?

Yes most definatly put this as a sticky that way the dumb ***'s that think a 4.10 will make thier engine turn 3000+ rpm on the highway can read it, instead of listening to someone who has done it before.

looks accurate to me. says i'm about 2000rpm at 65 which is right.

OMG this needs to be sticked right now!! im def. going with 4:10's now. this will cut down on dozens of nonscene threads about gears.


with 6:30's in my car(prob dont make them), in first gear at 120mph i will be at 31,852rpms. now thats some high rpms.

dumb question: mine is an 01 gt auto so which auto is mine? 4R70W wide 2.84 or 4R70W std 2.40

wind speed and load have absolutly no effect on what rmp and speed your at ... if the wind is blowing at you 100mph and your going 55 in 5th it will be the same with no wind at all unless your clutch is slipping.
