Default 4.6 build

Regrettably I've had to part with my 13 5.0 to pay for the wife's much needed new ride a new escape.

I've found a long term project in the form of a 2004 mustang and I'm thinking this needs to be a 6 speed tire shredding turbo charged beast. I'm thinking at some point I'm going to call MMR and just order a long block. So the question is, do I want a 2 valve that's cheaper or do I want the better 4 valve? I'd love another 7K rpm coyote but ouch on the price + forging for my boost.

I feel like if you go with a 2V you might regret later lol

Wow okay I had no idea that the cobra drive train was the same as a coyote setup price wise from ebay.

Considering it's a long-term build, DOHC will keep you from asking "what if?" later. It's not like you need it up and running right away.

4 valve is definitely the way I want to go. Too bad the cobra setup is as much as the coyote stuff.

Buy a teksid block, forge it, slap a turbo or SC on her and you'll have a car that I bet you're be happy with. GL!
