Default Timing question

I have heard that 14 degrees is where you want to set the timming with a timming adjuster. but with the predator where do you set it to equal 14 degrees? I have mine at 5.00 I think.

Default RE: Timing question

The predator will not advance the timing as far as the actual timing adjuster. Anyways its in percent on the predator, not degrees. Also, the timing is only adjusted on the predator for Wide Open Throttle (WOT). With a timing adjuster its adjusted all the time.

Default RE: Timing question

Don't forget to adjust the timing using the grade of fuel (octane) you plan on running. If you adjust it with 93 running in it, then you're stuck with that and can't drop down to 87. I'd recommend that you set the timing running 87.

Anyone else have more advice for him?
