My 01 is lowered 1.5 in. and I dont have problems bottoming out even with my mid-pipe hanging low. Maybe try and just go around the speed bumps if possible or take them slower. Have you done any other suspension work?

Sounds like you're more than 1.5 lower. The stock measurement on my '04 was 28.5 F/28.0 R from ground to center arc of wheel well. Check to see if you are closer to 26 on either one. If not, do you have U clamps on the exhaust and are they pointing down?

If that's not it, then raising the car a little may be your only option. You can buy polyurethane isolators swap out the worn out factory rubber pieces. Pain in the butt, but you should get back 1/4 to 3/8 inch 'lift'. Plus, they are good for life and stiffer than rubber.

I got my Prothane pieces at www.stangsuspension.com and didn't spend a fortune. Good luck.
