Default tool list for thsee jobs.

I'm about to start what I'm going to say is a significant set of jobs on my 2001 gt vert. I'm going to try and have all the tools needed for the entire project on hand. I have a 24 x 30 foot garage with a lot of or all of the tools I will need but I'm looking to the more experienced guys here to point out what I'm not thinking of.
Keep in mind I don't have a lift and I'm a shade tree mechanic. I ha e rebuilt an engine once and swapped rear ends, suspension and other things, but no professional.

Projects I intend to do all at the same time:
1 new clutch kit
2. New clutch cable and quadrant with fire wall adjuster
3. Short throw shifter
4. Headers, mid pipe, cat back
5. Sub frame connectors
6. Rear main seal since I will have it all apart.

Current tool list
1. Wrenches, and rachet wrenches
2. Socket set, standard and metric
3. Penetrating oil
4. Sawzall (may need to cut the stock exhaust out)
5. Floor Jacks X2
6. Jack stands x4
7 rubber mallet/ hammer
8. Wood blocks or phone book to pad jack on oil pan and tranny
9. Slide hammer with hook to pull pilot bearing.
10. Screw drivers
11. Welding machine (sub frame connectors)
12. Time. Going to take 2 or 3 days vacation to make a long weekend. Since I need to get my flywheel resurfaced.

If yall see tools I may have missed, please educate me.

You're good on the tool list. Almost everything on these cars can be done with an 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 15mm, and 18mm sockets.

I have a video on how to remove the engine on these cars, but I do have a showcase area with the exhaust, cross member and transmission bolts. I also show the tool and extension combos for the exhaust and what not. If you want to check it out, fast forward to the 22 minute mark. It finishes on the second video.

You may want a transmission jack and a torque wrench. If you are close to the Ocean you may run into rusty bolts, especially the headers. Sometimes a MAP gas or propane torch will be handy to heat them up for easier removal. A good drill and drill bit set with easy outs might come in handy.

Awesome videos. I will definitely be using that as a resource. Thanks!
Good call on the torch, and drill. I don't think I can justify spending the extra money on the tranny jack though. I have read a phone book on a floor jack will work. Does a transmission jack make it that much easier? If so I will surely consider it.
I am in Louisiana but the car was in tampa Florida for a while, so I expect some rusty bolts.
I do have a tour que wrench handy as well.
I appreciate the input fellas.

I've always used blocks or a floor jack and a helper. Getting the trans and the engine lined up and bolted in can be a bia***.

Good point. I wasn't even thinking about putting it back in. Got focused on lowering it down.
I will be sure to have help for that part.
Keep em coming guys. Any tips would be super helpful also. Ive read the clutch replacement thread and looked over the pics. That was very educational as well

You will be better off paying to have the subframe connectors installed, unless you or someone you know has a welder.
