I just happen to plug in my tuner in my car to see if I had any codes, even though I had no check engine lights (2004 Mustang GT). The code p1260 came up and it said "theft detected, vehice immobilized". I bought the tuner from American muscle, tried tuning it, had problems with spark knock, etc., & I'm currently running stock. Does this code affect how the car runs? It seems to be running okay.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having here! The code is in relation to PATS being triggered on your car. Shoot the Bama team a call at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you fixed up. I'd like them to take a look at the tune as well so they can clear up the spark knock issues that you're experiencing!

That code should not affect how the car runs,, It generally just kills the fuel/ignition/starter and you cant start the car,,,

I would be a bit concerned because when the unthinkable happens it costs money for a tow and dealer to reset the Pats.

My theft light always flashes, i turned off my pats system with my tuner thays why. Id see if ur tune disabled the pats
