Default car randomly dies

So I have an 02 mustang gt. There was a problem where the car kept idling bad then stalling out always upon stopping, mechanic shop changed IAC 4 times and the said the fourth one was the charm. Sounded strange to me. But I got the car back and everything runs fine
Except for everyone once in the most random while, the car will just die for no reason when slowing down. I'll just start it back up and keep driving. Any ideas why?

you just have to find a quality shop. to say that every shop is full of morons is highly inaccurate.

Shops are there to make money more than fix your stuff. Obviously that shop is full of morons changing out 4 IAC's when it had obvious TPS symptoms.

If you are in Southern CA, Heller Ford-Escondido- is a great place to take your Mustang.
