Can anyone tell me what the benifits are of a quad shock setup. Ive never even heard of this type of setup till i found this setup on latemodel http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...trut-Shock-Kit.

You already have quad shocks unless someone removed them. They prevent wheel hop when launching or doing a burnout. Search the forums lots of info and debates. Some say if you have aftermarket LCA's then you don't need them.

I found out after buying my 02 GT that the previous owner removed the quads and still had the stock lower control arms and when I did my first launch on a back road, the wheel hop was so bad that I thought my car was going to shake apart into a million pieces. Needless to say, I ordered new Bilstein quad shocks and have had no wheel hop since. I also just ordered a set of Steeda aluminum LCA's but I am going to keep the quads installed.

FYI, you can buy just the KYB Quads for less than $35 each with free shipping on ebay, amazon, and jegs I think...

Now that you mention it i think the guy who had it before me must have taken them of. Because i have a lot of shaking and vibrations going down the road at normal driving speeds.

Sounds like a different issue. I never noticed anything out of the ordinary driving around normally without quads. Infact, I didn't even know what quads were until I did my first burnout, felt the horrid wheel hop, and came on here searching for answers.
