Curious your opinion on doing a cam swap on a 2000 GT. Considering comp stage 3 cam, stock heads and intake manifold. Worth it or no?

Depends. If you're doing the work yourself then I would recommend it. If you're paying someone and not doing any kind of head work then I would say don't do it. Minimal gain for all the money spent. If it were me I would go with some type of aftermarket heads or either get your heads ported and polish and then do the cam swap. Just me though.

Unfortunately, pulling a cam goes a bit beyond my comfort level for wrenching on the car so I do have to pay my guy. He said its looking like 10 hours which would be expensive. Not sure what Im gonna do now, definitely need to wake this motor up
