Nah i wasn't asking exactly where it was going but rather what could have been screwed up to cause this like obviously no oil caused this but where the major damaged part could be. Basically a start on what to fix. It could easily be toast honestly i know that. I mean it still starts

Forgive my bluntness,but if you can't diagnose where the oil leak is,it's doubtful that you have the ability to remedy a fix.This is not something easy like changing a water pump.For starters,you'd need to pull the engine,pull the heads,remove the crankshaft,etc.etc.etc.Odds are pretty good that the main bearings and connecting rod bearings are shot.That's not a simple bolt in new ones and you're done.The crankshaft would need to be machined.....Never mind whatever else might be damaged throughout the motor.It's a can of worms,quite frankly.There are countless "might as well change this,while it's apart " to do a good job too.
Find a good used engine,find a reman block,or find another car.

Once engines run low on oil, it begins to eat the bearings. metal shavings get in to EVERY part of the oiling system. You could find the bad bearing, replace it, and then the motor will eat itself again because metal is still floating around. Other than complete tear down, cleaning, machine work, etc... its a wash...

More than 5 quarts and yah I was kinda figuring just new engine or car. I bought a new car months ago lol but the Mustang has been sitting in my drive way so figured I'd ask. Someone asked to buy the body and swap there own engine guess I should just do that
