Default info. for the mechanically challenged

I want to replace the thermostat on my '03 but I cannot find the plug to empty the radiator. Can anyone help? and is there any additional advice on this matter?

Be careful bolting the stat housing back on. They break very easily.

Nah man you can't do it without draining it. Otherwise you'll have radiator fluid everywhere. Trust me I didn't know I had to drain it at first

You can do it without draining it, but I'd flush the system while youre doing the thermostat.

Are you threatening me?

lol jk JT

But how can you do it without draining it when you have to remove the hose which is full of the coolant. When I unscrewed the bolts and started to lift it off of the thermostat coolant started flowing everywhere.
