Umm it slids up into the plastic white thing. Its pretty easy. I mean bolt the ecu back in, you know you have to use a wrench to hook the computer back up. Then push it up into the panel. It should fit under the plastic white thing holding it against the body. Thats about it. Just disconnect your battery first.

Yeah, its easy. Just pull the kick panel off and look at it. It the '05s are similar to the 99+ GT's then you have to disconnect like three connectors, then pull the bolt out of the center of of the ECU bracket then yank it out. After you have it out partially then you will see a larger connector on the top thats held on with two bolts. Just take them out and remove that connector and the ECU is free to go where ever you go.

Reinstallation is just as simple. No worries about the connectors and where they go because the pins inside each of them are different and wont connect to the wrong connection.

if U have an 05 what the hell was he taking the ECU out to show you what a chip could do? you can't put a chip in the spanish-oak processors just reflash them. second if he took it out why didn't he put it back in. simple lazyness like that would make me wonder if I could trust him to work on my car.
