Coolant dark brown and lots of white smoke

Your best bet is to get a service manual, and follow the procedures for replacing the head gasket. You will also need to have the oil changed, and flush the cooling system to remove any oil/sludge. You will need to change the oil 2 or 3 times in the first few months to clean any sludge from the engine.

It's considered major surgery. Can be done with the engine in the car but just about everyone I know whose been there and done that would advise that you pull the engine and mount it to a stand. You will also want new timing components (chains, tensioners and guides) since that's all gotta come apart anyway. Adds about $3-400 to your parts bill.
Shop labor, I'm not sure but I could see it being billed at around 8 hrs labor, at least.

All pressures rise when you're going that fast; water pressure, and continual compression
pressure inside the cylinders at higher revs. It's not an exact science, but had you not gone
120 miles per hour, it would have just happened later on.

So do you recommend I buy this, https://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-...ge-9604gt.html , have a shop install it then clean my coolant tank, change my oil and I'm set?

First of all, it's not the cap, and there is no radiator cap. There is a cap on the
reservoir. If you saw DARK BROWN liquid in it, then went back later and
it was gone, it didn't shoot out the cap, the engine sucked it up.
You have a MAJOR problem, but hey, do what you want man, we'll be reading
from you again, real soon. Those caps don't go bad, and they are not the
same as a radiator cap. Good luck man, you're gonna need it if all you plan
on replacing is the cap, which isn't the problem...
