so make sure you got O/D off and when you come on the turn, pull it into second, then first and once it shifts into first, smash the pedal and have the *** end come out, it works in a 6, it will work in a GT.
I was told to do this with my car will this hurt my auto tranny? It sounds fun but I don't want to damage my car.

i wouldn't do it but I don't see how much harm it would do a couple of times because your car won't let you over rev the engine.

There is no need to do that. You can just stomp on it around the corner and she'll whip around.

You automatic guys slay me. Without a shifter kit, and you have it in drive, you have no control of when it shifts.

I have a shift kit. I guess I should have mentioned that.

I took a turn yesterday at 45 mph when the sign said 20 mph. My back end almost slipped out so I gave it MORE gas. lol.

I guess I will just smash the gas, but the shift part sounded so much funner. Oh, well in a few years I will have another stang, and that WILL be a manual.

Actually, when driving, if i am using 1 and 2 on the gear selector, the car wont shift out of 1st or 2nd unless i shift it up a gear, it will stay in that gear as long as you keep it there, even when the rev limiter kicks in

I know, but some people just don't belive this. I drive in second gear usually, I stretch my gas out a little longer when I'm on a street instead of having it in drive.
