headlights on a 04
does anyone know if the 2004 gt's come with smoked headlights or clear ones. i was going to get smoked ones for my gt but i was told i already have them.
though the ones i was looking at looked darker than mine.

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure the cobra is the only one that comes stock with the tinted lights.The centennial might have them also.

Yeah, I just looked at mine again and they do look tinted but I'm over at Dearborn Stamping and I've done alot of work at the late Dearborn Assembly (B Bld.) and I could've sworn they had headlights with darker tint.I looked into buying some and I was talking to a buddy that was in mgmt. at the assembly plant and he told me the darker ones went on the cobras and the 100th anniversary editions.
I hope I have the darkest ones because I was planning on spending some money down the road to get them.

My headlights have the black shroud inside of them. I have an 03 GT. I used to get flashed all the time but my headlights were positioned to high. All you need is an allen key reposition the pitch of the headlights. There is an allen key screw on the top of the headlight, only one for each side. I bet you wont get flashed anymore after you do it.
