depends how old you are, if you are under 25 your insurance will be sky high with a GT

2004 GT.

no contest in my opinion. i assume you are buying the car for both the looks and the fun/feel good factor of driving it. looks is preference...i kinda prefer the 99-04 body syle...but the GT will be so much more fun to drive. ive had an 01 V6 and an 03 GT...no contest in which was more fun. also...if you can/want to...get a 5-speed...also a lot more fun to drive i think. my V6 was auto, the GT is 5-speed. and quite frankly...i'm in love with my current car.

if they are closely priced, go with the GT. It has quite a power advantage over the 05 sixer.

Dual Exhaust,
More Mods/aftermarket support
I believe weigh less as well? correct me if im wrong.
v8

^just a few reasons why 04 GT would be better choice...

plus its the 40th ann. and 2004 is the last year that body style was made.
which I believe will have better value in many years.

For about the same price, you could get an 03 Mach1. But, I doubt you could afford the insurance.
