im about to get some 17" cobra r wheels
imma get 9" for front and 10.5" for back.....what size tires should i get for it?

If you are going with the 10.5 x 17 on the fronts you will have to go with 315 35 17, thats to keep your speedo 100% accurate, you can go to 325 x 35 17, but you would be running 1.1mph to slow at 60mph, i would go with the 325, the 315 i think just dont give you enough side wall to protect the rim.

However, since you are going 10.5 at the rear it doesnt matter, i would go with 255 40 17s on the front, thats keeps you in line with speedo cal.

My set up is, 10.5 x 18 deep dish bullits at the rear with 325 30 18 tyres, and at the front, standard 17 bullits with 245 45 17 tyres.

You can actually fit 335's on the rear very easily with a live axle. Thats what I had on my 10.5's.

What in the world does the width of your tire have to do with the speedo? I thought it went like this 315(tread width)x 35(sidewall height) x 17(rim size) If all the tires are ???x35x17 the speedo would be right. Do i have this backwards? I think thats how it goes.

you have 18X10.5's on the rear i have been looking for some 18X10.5's and can't find them where did you get yours are they deep dish? Do they fit o.k.?

By the way a friend of mine has 17x9 and 17x10.5 he has goodyear f1's on the rear that are 315/35 trust me they look sick, the foot print is like 12 inches and will make your car look like it's packing f***ing 500+ hp. no tuners will pull beside you revving if you have those and some lm1's lol

Any size will do as long as it's 305 and up. but must have a 35 not 40 and the 275's look good up front out back they suck. good luck!

Im running 17x9's all around with falken 451s, 255/40/17 and 275/40/17 rear, gives decent traction and looks good, as well as not sticking out the bottom too much
