<FONT color=red size=4>Forge the bottom end so he can put a turbo charger or super charger in his GT? all together it should cost 7k maybe 8k right? but then he might get it in the 11's MAYBE 10's for the 1/4 mile track right? Cause first hes putting in the Pulley and Gears(better ones obviously) and he kind of wants a super charger but i know and he knows he needs to forge the bottom ends so is it worth doing?</FONT>

depends on how many PSI he plans on running....5-6 is easy and stock motor can take it, but i wouldnt do much more than 8 PSI stock. im not sure he would get into even the mid 12's with a conservatives/c on a stock motor

If you got hte money. Just do the bottom end first. Then you can go a little crazy with a bigger s/c. And you also got the piece of mind. To know that you motor isn't go bang.
