keyless remote programming?

my batteries died on my keyless entry remote, and my alarm goes off when i use the regular key...how do i reset the remote? i got new batteries for it, anyone know how to rest it? thanks!

I work for Alabama Mustang and to reprogram the remote turn the ignition on and off with remote on key chain until the doors lock and unlock this should program the remote

thanks, but for my car it was the control module in the back that had to be reset (had to short it out), works like a dream now. thanks though
