Trading my 99GT
Hey Guys,

I have a 99GT 35TH Anniversary Black Convertible. I love my car exept thats its an automatic. I have done the BBK H-Pipe with 2-Chamber Flowmaster, Cut out the cataylic converter, put eliminators on it, Cobra R Wheels, Steeda Strut Tower Brace, and new gaskets.

I have a buddy who works at the local ford dealership whos doesnt want to sell his but he will to me. For $11000.

He has a 1999 GT 35th ANniversary Silver Coupe. Its 5speed with steeda's new tri-ax shifter, new gaskets, new headers, new fuel rails, K & N cold air intake, 3.73 gears, Custom Madoreal Bent X-Pipe with flowmaster 2 chamber flows, converter cut off, elimatiors put in, $750 worth of audio equipment. Took his stock wing and drilled it 3 inches back so it looks allot better, He has a diablo racing chip. Some kind of different compter thing as well. 03 Cobra Wheels. It runs 8.1 i think in the 1/8. He's done more im just not too sure.

I bought mine for 10,200 and found someone to buy mine for 11,200.

Is it worth it or?

Here's the question, i've rode in it, and drove it, and it sounds good and rides exellent. The car has right around 58,000 miles on it. He had NOS on it for maybe a month 2 years ago. When he uped the shot, he cracked the whole intake. He took NOS off and then replaced the whole intake. He mentioned that in 99, the recalled some of them, cuz there was a defect in a few of them anyways. Another question i have, is that instead of lower-springs, he just cut his. The whole car is lowered 2-inches all the way around and looks great, but should it be different cutting them then just installing eibach sports springs or something?

I'm very interested in it, but should those two things matter or would it not be worth it.

You guys let me know.
